Modern Energy is proud to announce a new project award to further expand the Industrial Automation and Controls facility for one of South Wales’ award‑winning electronic manufacturing businesses. This long‑standing client provides bespoke solutions shipped worldwide, and once again they’ve chosen Modern Energy to support their continued growth and sustainability ambitions.
Our relationship with this business goes back to 2018, when we delivered their first Solar PV installation — a SolarEdge system designed to reduce operational costs and strengthen energy resilience. Following the success of that project, we were invited back in 2020 to introduce further renewable technologies in the form of a commercial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
Now, in 2026, Modern Energy has been invited back for a third time to expand the existing kWp SolarEdge array and integrate the latest commercial battery solution: the SolarEdge CSS‑ODD. This upgrade will significantly increase onsite generation and allow the business to cover its night‑time energy use, further reducing outgoing energy costs and strengthening long‑term sustainability.
This continued trust speaks volumes about the passion and commitment of the business owners, and their drive to lead by example in sustainable manufacturing.
